A 26-year-old woman was flown to hospital on Monday morning with a suspected broken pelvis after being thrown from a horse while riding.

Paramedics from the Toowoomba-based RACQ CareFlight helicopter helped the woman at a property near Meringandan.

The woman was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

A CareFlight spokesperson said the Easter weekend was very busy for the rescue service with more than 30 missions flown across Queensland.
