It’s Easter Sunday which means the Bunya Mountains Community Market Day this weekend will be extra special.
The markets, which are organised by the Bunya Mountains Accommodation Centre, will run from from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
All stallholder fees are donated to the charity organisation, YoungCare.
There will be 30 stalls featuring gifts, local produce, handmade delicacies, art and craft.
There will also be treats made out of the local Bunya nuts, including Bunya burgers, beef and Bunya pies, scones, carrot cake and the Bunya nut ice cream.
Lyrics Licensed Restaurant at The Bunyas will be running their monthly Seafood Sunday in conjunction with the markets as well.
The day features fresh seafoods from the coast, but bookings are essential to be sure of a seat: (07) 4668-3131.

Easter markets are also planned for Yallakool at Bjelke-Petersen Dam on Easter Sunday from 7:00am to noon.
Yallakool is almost booked out for the Easter weekend – with all cabins, powered sites and ensuite sites booked out.
There are still unpowered sites available.
