Work to upgrade the Angel Avenue car park in Murgon is due to begin on Monday (March 21).
The project will include widening the sealed parking area to provide a number of extra parking bays.
Construction work will include excavation, laying gravel pavement, installing drainage structures, bitumen sealing, signage and line marking.
A Council spokesman said access to the area would be restricted during the construction period.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of next month.
