A man injured in a farming accident was airlifted from Murgon Hospital on Saturday afternoon.

The RACQ CareFlight helicopter was called to Murgon at 3:30pm to assist the man, aged in his 50s.

It is believed he had been trampled by a cow on a property.

He was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
