Toowoomba voters will have a smorgasbord of candidates to choose from on March 19.
Toowoomba operates whole-of-shire elections, so all voters will be selecting a Mayor and 10 Councillor positions at the election.
Five candidates – including current Mayor Paul Antonio – have nominated for the position of Mayor on the 2016-2020 Toowoomba Regional Council.
And 31 candidates have put up their hand for the role of Councillor, including seven serving councillors: Nancy Sommerfield, Geoff McDonald, Mike Williams, Bill Cahill, Anne Glasheen, Carol Taylor and Chris Tait.
Councillors Ros Scotney, John Gouldson and Sue Englart have announced they will be retiring at the March 19 poll.
