An RACQ CareFlight helicopter airlifted a man with leg injuries from Kingaroy Hospital on Tuesday night after he fell from a ladder.

It’s understood the man, aged in his 70s, had been pruning palm trees when he fell on Tuesday afternoon, causing a suspected broken leg and dislocated hip.

The CareFlight helicopter was sent to Kingaroy Hospital about 10:00pm.

The man was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
