Some of the best junior rugby league footballers in Queensland will be on show in Kingaroy this weekend when pre-season trial games for the Cyril Connell and Mal Meninga competitions will be played on Saturday and Sunday at T’J. O’Neill Oval.
On Saturday (February 20):
- U16s Cyril Connell – 1.00pm – Central Crows v Norths Devils
- U18s Mal Meninga – 3.00pm – Central Crows v North Devils
The two trial games will then be followed by a friendly between a South Burnett Invitational side and Norths Devils, to kick-off at 5:00pm.
Entry to the grounds is $5.00.
On Sunday (February 21):
- U16s Cyril Connell – 10:30am – Central Crows v Toowoomba Clydesdales
- U18s Mal Meninga – Noon – Central Crows v Toowoomba Clydesdales
Late last year eight junior South Burnett Rugby League players earned selection for either the Crows’ U16 or U18 squads so there should be some familiar faces on the field.
