The RACQ CareFlight helicopter service has been kept busy in the South Burnett over the past couple of days.

On Tuesday morning, a 17-year-old girl was flown to Brisbane from Kingaroy Hospital with possible head and pelvic injuries after falling from a horse.

Then about 5:00pm on Tuesday, a 50-year-old woman was flown from the same hospital for treatment for a medical condition.

About 8:00pm,a man in his 60s with a cardiac condition was airlifted from Nanango Hospital for treatment at Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane.

Then at dawn on Wednesday, a helicopter was called out to Cherbourg to help a woman in her 60s suffering a severe infection. She was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

About 4:00pm, CareFlight was called to Kingaroy Hospital again for another inter-hospital transfer, this time for a middle-aged woman suffering a neurological condition who was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital.
