A woman has been flown to Toowoomba Hospital with suspected internal injuries after a motorbike crash at Manar Park, near Boondooma, on Thursday morning.

A Toowoomba-based helicopter from RACQ CareFlight was despatched at 10:44am to help the injured rider.

A Careflight spokesman said the woman, aged in her late 30s, was injured when she hit barriers alongside a marked track.

She was treated at the scene for suspected internal and leg injuries and was airlifted in a serious but stable condition to Toowoomba Base hospital.

One Response to "Injured Rider Flown Out"

  1. Barely a month goes by that there isn’t a report of another person injured and being flown out from Manar Park by the community funded emergency service helicopters. The QAS are no doubt also called to attend the patient. I would hope that the management and attendees of the facility make substantial donations to the emergency helicopter services as it is no doubt a major impost to our South Burnett and the general Queensland community.
