Police are appealing for help from the public after several suspicious incidents in Roma and Jandowae.

On November 30, a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man in a vehicle while walking to school at Roma.

Between 7:00am and 8:00am the girl was walking to school when she was approached by a man in a white 4WD on Borland Street.

The man reportedly asked the girl to get into the vehicle, telling her that her parents had sent him to pick her up.

The girl refused and the man left the scene in a vehicle described as being a white SUV.

On the same day the girl was approached, a 25-year-old woman was walking on Duke Street and McDowall Street, Roma about 12:45pm.

She was approached by a man in a white hatchback who asked if she needed a lift.

On December 3, a suspicious incident occurred at a school in Jandowae.

About 12:20pm, a seven-year-old boy was returning to class when a man outside the school tried to entice him with chocolate to approach him.

The boy ran to class and told his teacher about the incident.

Both children and the woman who were approached have described the man in a similar fashion and police are investigating whether the incidents are linked.

As a result, police have released comfits based on the descriptions and are seeking to determine whether the images are of the same man.

He has been described as Caucasian, chubby face, possibly aged in his 60s, with short, balding white hair, white stubble beard and was wearing old glasses.

The children and woman were not physically hurt during the incidents.
