The 2015 Cake – and some tasty treats – at the Nanango SHS Hall

November 23, 2015

Nanango State High School students gathered at historic Ringsfield House on Thursday night for their traditional photo shoot ahead of their annual Year 12 formal.

After posing with parents and friends, the students took to a cavalcade of cars for the short journey to the Nanango State High School Hall.

There they were greeted by a crowd eager to get a glimpse of the ball gowns and suits, and snap more photos as they strolled up the red carpet to the hall.

Inside, the hall was decorated with an “Aussie country” feel with wagon wheels on the stage and rustic displays prepared by Yvonne Toohey and Shelley Gaedtke decorating each table.

Many Nanango State High School staff members also joined in the celebrations.

One Response to "Nanango Students Salute Tradition"

  1. Aijana Cook had even more tradition to salute. Her father, Trevor Cook, was born at Ringsfield in the last year or two that children were born there. She had photos taken with her father at Ringsfield for this reason.
