Hodges Road in Kingaroy will be partially closed for two weeks from next Monday, October 26, so roadworks can be carried out in the area adjacent to the new Kingaroy Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The project will focus on stormwater installation in Hodges Road and at the River Road intersection.

Road widening in the area will be done at a later date.

Construction work will consist of vegetation clearing, drainage, gravel pavement, bitumen sealing, line marking, and signage.

In order to provide a safe working environment, Council will close Hodges Road from River Road south to the crest on the southern side of Kingaroy Creek between 6:00am and 4:00pm.

During this period traffic will be controlled by signage.

Only local traffic will be allowed access to the work area during construction.

Local residents with should contact the onsite supervisor if they have any concerns.
