Eight South Burnett girls are currently representing Wide Bay at the QSS 15yrs Girls Cricket Championship in Mackay.
The championship started on Sunday and will finish on Tuesday.
In Game 1, Wide Bay came up against Darling Downs. The Downs side won with two overs in hand.
Wide Bay had more luck in Game 2, defeating a President’s XI by four overs.
