Guide Dogs Queensland is coming to Kingaroy later this month for another of its Low Vision Mobility Expos for people with vision impairment.

A Carers/Partners Seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 18 from 9:00am to noon at the Town Common Hall, in Oliver Bond Street.

This will be followed by the Low Vision Mobility Expo from 1:00pm–4:00pm.

The Carers/Partners Seminar aims to provide support and information to the carers, partners and relatives of vision impaired people. This seminar is also an opportunity for vision impaired people to connect with each other and further understand the impact of vision loss.

The Low Vision Mobility Expo is a great opportunity for people who are blind or vision-impaired to learn about the services provided by Guide Dogs Queensland and other services which are available in the region.

Both events are free however there are limited places available at the seminar. To reserve a seat, contact the Brisbane office of Guide Dogs Queensland on (07) 3500-9060 or by email

There is no need to book to attend the Expo.

UPDATE October 26: The Carers Seminar has been cancelled. The Expo will now be held at the Kingaroy Library on Wednesday afternoon.
