Work will begin next week to lay bitumen on Johnson Street at Hivesville.
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesman said the street would be “rehabilitated” along its full length, with earthworks, gravel pavement and bitumen sealing.
The works should be completed this month, weather permitting.
Private access for local residents may be affected for short periods but prior notification will be given.
Council said residents with other concerns during the construction period should contact the on-site supervisor.
