Firefighters have been kept busy on Wednesday, attending several local fires.
Just before 9:00am, urban and rural crews attended a fire on Old Wondai Road at Wattle Camp.
They contained the fire and extinguished it.
In the afternoon, rural crews were called back to Wattle Camp, this time to a fire near Kingaroy Barkers Creek Road and Wattle Camp Road.
At one point flames jumped the road, posing a danger to firefighters and motorists, however firefighters quickly contained the blaze.
