Kingaroy detectives are investigating the death of a 60-year-old Nanango man on Friday, September 11.

Detective Sergeant Dane Sheraton, from Kingaroy CIB, said Bruce Flynn was found at his home in Old Esk Road North, Nanango.

About 4:20pm, ambulance paramedics attended the residence where Mr Flynn had been found unconscious by a friend.

He was taken to Kingaroy Hospital where he died a short time later.

The cause of his death is unknown.

“We are asking any members of the community who either knew Bruce and have information in relation to his death, or saw anything suspicious in the area of the intersection of Old Esk North Road and Templeton Road at Nanango between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on September 11 to contact police,” Det Sgt Sheraton said.

“Police have taken a number of statements and made inquiries with his family, friends and neighbours.”

Det Sgt Sheraton said a white vehicle, possibly with tinted windows, was seen in the area of the intersection around that time.

“Anyone who knows anything more about this vehicle should contact Kingaroy detectives on (07) 4160-4900 or Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-000,” he said.
