The Kingaroy Community Police Consultative Committee will be marking its 25th birthday with a community celebration next Thursday, September 17.
There will be a free sausage sizzle in the Town Hall Forecourt in Glendon Street from 10:00am to noon, plus displays from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service, Police, Ambulance, Rural Fire Brigades and SES.
There will also be a demonstration by the QFES’s “kitchen fire” display.
The celebrations are being organised by the South Burnett Regional Council in conjunction with the Police Consultative Committee.
