A driver lost control of their vehicle, crossed onto the wrong side of the D’Aguilar Highway at South Nanango and then rolled three times on Sunday morning … allegedly while texting on a mobile phone.
Sergeant Jason Newton, officer-in-charge of Nanango police, said the 25-year-old woman had been issued with a notice to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on September 24 to face a charge of driving without due care and attention.
The incident occurred about 9:30am near the intersection with Elouera Drive.
The two people in the vehicle, believed to be from Brisbane, were taken to Kingaroy Hospital for assessment.

Earlier on Sunday morning, Nanango police were called to another single vehicle crash, this time on the Burnett Highway near Sandy Ridges.
The incident occurred about 3:15am.
No one was injured and Sgt Newton said police believe fatigue may have been a factor in the crash.

Police and fire-fighters attended a vehicle fire on the Bunya Highway on Friday afternoon.
A woman and children in the vehicle were not injured, and the QFES extinguished a small fire in the engine bay.
The vehicle had to be towed away.
