Can you imagine what it would be like to bathe without using soap? Or being unable to brush your teeth?
Sadly, this is happening within our community – there are some amongst us who see these essential, everyday hygiene products as a luxury item.
The QCWA Kingaroy Twilight Branch want to tackle this problem by creating “Hygiene Packs” to help those in need in our local community.
The Branch is looking for donations of:
- Toothbrushes (to be single brushes in sealed package)
- Toothpaste
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Brushes/combs
- Soap
- Women’s sanitary items
Twilight Branch members will compile these items into personal bags, then distribute them to local community groups who assist those in need.
Donations can be dropped off to any one of these locations between Monday and Friday from the end of August through to mid-September:
- CTC Youth Park – Somerset Street, Kingaroy
- CTC Enterprise Centre – 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy
- SB Care Senior Citizens Hall – corner of Kingaroy and Avoca Streets, Kingaroy
You’re also welcome to contact Anita on 0439-762-632, Leanne or 0423-116-824 or email the Branch for alternate arrangements.
