Following the success of the inaugural Mayoral Charity Golf Day – held in Kingaroy in last November – the South Burnett Regional Council is planning two more events.
The first, sponsored by Wessel Petroleum (BP Murgon), will be held at the Murgon Golf Course on Friday, September 11.
The three-person Ambrose will have a shotgun start at 11.00am (with a special guest to be announced).
The second golf day will be held in Kingaroy on November 20.
Both of these days will raise money for the Mayor’s Community Benefit Fund.
Council is inviting local businesses or organisations to support the events by way of sponsorship, raffle items and by nominating teams of golfers.
