Kingaroy-based South Burnett Home Care now has a new name … “Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Community Care”.
The new name brings under the one banner a number of community-based, aged care services across the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service region.
“There are many reforms happening currently in the area of aged care services,” DDHHS Director of Aged Care Luke Tanks said.
“This name change allows us to bring together a number of different services under the one banner.”
Mr Tanks said the change was in name only.
“Contacts details for each of the services remains the same,” he said.
