The Preliminary Finals of the U14s and U16s Sunshine Coast Girls rugby league competition will be played at T.J. O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy on Friday night.
At 7:30pm, the U14s Red Ants girls will take on Kawana.
The the U16s Preliminary Final between the Kingaroy girls and Kawana will kick off at 8:30pm.
The U14s and U16s girls have been competing in 10-round Sunshine Coast competitions which each involved five teams.
In U16s, Kingaroy finished third on the ladder, while the U14s girls finished one better, in second.

Also on Friday night, the Kingaroy Red Ant’s U16s boys team will be taking on Cherbourg at 5:15pm in their President’s Cup clash at T.J. O’Neill Oval.
Kingaroy and Cherbourg are level-pegging at the top of the U16s ladder with 16 points apiece.
Then at 6:30pm, the U14s Red Ants will also be playing Cherbourg for President’s Cup.

There will be more rugby league played at T.J. O’Neill Oval on Saturday:
- 10:00am – U6 & U8 – Kingaroy v Wondai
- 11:00am – U10 – Kingaroy v Wondai
- Noon – U12 President’s Cup – Kingaroy v Wondai
- 1:00pm – U14 – Kingaroy v Wondai
- 2:15pm – A Grade – Kingaroy v Wondai
At Cherbourg, the Hornets will be taking on the Central Burnett Brumbies:
- 9:00am – U6 & U8
- 10:00am – U10
- 11:00am – U12
- Noon – U14
- 1:00pm – U16
Then at 2:00pm, in U18s Murgon will play Coolum, followed at 3:30pm by the A Grade game between Cherbourg and Murgon.
UPDATE July 23: The U18s match has been cancelled; A Grade will now kick off at 2:30pm.
At Nanango, the Stags juniors will be playing Murgon:
- 9:00am – U6
- 9:45am – U8 (two games)
- 10:30am – U10
- 11:15am – U10
- Noon – U12
- 1:00pm – U14
Then at 2:00pm, U18s Nanango will play Noosa.

All three Kingaroy State High School rugby league teams have made it through to the Grand Finals of the Wide Bay Southern Anglo American Broncos Challenge.
The games will be played at T.J. O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy on August 13 from 1:00pm.
