Current and would-be students at the Kingaroy and Nurunderi TAFE campuses have until Friday (June 26) to apply for special scholarships from TAFE Queensland.
Two types of grants are available: merit scholarships and access and equity scholarships.
The first is designed to reward students who excel in a TAFE Queensland study area; the second is designed to help students who for a range of reasons may not otherwise have the opportunity to study.
Scholarships are being offered to study TAFE Queensland qualifications ranging from a Certificate III to Advanced Diplomas across a range of study areas, including hospitality, health services and automotive.
Scholarship payments can be used to meet any cost associated with study.
The money can be used to cover course fees, purchase books and study materials, or reduce cost of living expenses.
