Here’s the fishing report for Boondooma and Bjelke-Petersen dams for the week ending Monday, June 15:

Boondooma Dam
- Dam Level = 70 per cent
Mixed results this week with good size bass on ice jigs and blades around Pelican Point.
The goldens were a lot harder to catch, with bait being the weapon of choice. The Boyne produced most
of the fish.
Redclaw are still in good numbers but people are working harder to find them.

Bjelke-Petersen Dam – Yallakool
- Dam Level = 51 per cent
Both Bass and Goldens played hardball this week.
The fisherman that could get live bait caught the most fish.
If you’re into lure fishing, the odd Golden was caught on deep diving hard bodies bumping the bottom or jigging blades.
Redclaw numbers are still patchy.
