Michele Berkhout, from TAFE Queensland South West, will be the guest speaker at the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s next Meet’n’Greet.
The Meet’n’Greet will be held from 5:15pm on Monday, June 22, at the TAFE South West campus on Geritz Road in Kingaroy.
Michele will be discussing her role to raise the profile of TAFE South West, the organisation formed after the merger of the Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE (the operators of the Kingaroy and Nurunderi TAFE campuses) and the Bremer Institute of TAFE in 2013-14.
TAFE Queensland South West has 12 campus locations: Bundamba, Charleville, Cherbourg, Chinchilla, Dalby, Kingaroy, Inala, Roma, Springfield, Stanthorpe, Toowoomba and Warwick.
Michel also is charged with fostering relationships between TAFE South West and indutsry in a bid to achieve increased employment opportunities for students.
Cost to attend the Meet’n’Greet is $10.
