Queensland businesses have been invited to nominate representatives to sit on the Queensland Small Business Advisory Council.
Small Business Minister Kate Jones said today she had decided to increase the number of small business representatives on the Small Business Advisory Council.
“We are looking for the business minds of today that are going to create the jobs of tomorrow and are particularly interested in small businesses that are both innovative and entrepreneurial,” she said.
“Small businesses are the backbone of regional economies so we also want to see a strong representation from the regions.
“The Small Business Advisory Council will create a direct line of communication between small business and government.
“With half of all private sector jobs in small business, stimulating growth in small business is critical to jobs for Queenslanders.”
