Hope Dairies is continuing to work on its feasibility study for its South Burnett project, with no decision made as yet.
Director Dave Garcia, speaking to southburnett.com.au from Hong Kong, would not comment on any of the rumours – positive or negative – that have been whispered recently around the South Burnett.
Asked about a possible location for the milk treatment plant, he said part of the feasibility study would cover “where everything should go”.
He said Hope Dairies was busy at the moment working on the feasibility study, however some of the people who had been working on this project were also involved with other projects.
Asked when the feasibility study could be completed, Mr Garcia replied: “How long is a piece of string?”
However, he confirmed no dairy cattle had been purchased as yet.
“We are just working on our feasibility study and a decision will be made after it is complete.
“It could go either way,” he said.
