Here’s the weekly Fishing Report for Boondooma dam for the week ending Monday, May 11:
Boondooma Dam
- Dam Level = 72 per cent
It’s been a week of mixed results. Live bait is still the weapon of choice with good size Goldens caught all week.
The Bass have been harder to find.
The river arms have changed with the flush from last week and the water is extremely dirty. Changing from shiny lures to something with vibration is the best option.
All the signs are pointing to a migration of fish into the deeper water around the points like the Junction and Pelican Point.
Redclaw have continued to be caught in good numbers, probably due to the dirty water.
