Emergency crews were called to assist a man in his 50s in Kilkivan this morning after his car became wedged under the roller door at the front of the Kilkivan Fire Shed about 8:00am.
The car became stuck in the building after a two-vehicle crash in Bligh Street.
Firefighters removed a door from the wedged car to allow an ambulance crew to access the driver.
The man was removed from the car and transported to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
The other vehicle was a mini-van which was clipped on the passenger’s side. Its driver emerged shaken but unhurt.
