Biosecurity Queensland has released a Pest Alert information sheet for melon growers worried about Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV).
It includes photographs of infected plants and fruit as well as a comprehensive overview of the virus.
Biosecurity Queensland has also developed a list of frequently asked questions.
Growers can subscribe to receive situation updates about the CGMMV response directly by visiting the Biosecurity Queensland website and then selecting the box to receive updates about “Weeds, plant pests and disease”.
