Jumping Ant Arts will be holding their latest exhibition, “Encounters”, at the Kingaroy Art Gallery during May.
The Kingaroy-based artists’ group will be showing works across many media including watercolours, oils, pottery, textiles, silver and silk.
Jumping Ant Arts have been holding an annual exhibition at the gallery since 2010, when they mounted a “Paper and Wood” exhibition.
Since then the group have staged a GiANT Fest exhibition and a Mad Hatters Tea Party exhibition. They also helped to yarn bomb a tractor for Tractor Tattoo in 2012.
The official launch night for JAA’s 2015 exhibition will be held on Friday, May 8, from 6:00pm.
Light refreshments will be served, a lucky door prize will be drawn and raffles featuring the work of some of the artists will be available.
“Encounters” will run in the main gallery until May 30.
In Gallery 2, there will be a photographic exhibition by Cynthia J Taylor, “Hidden Treasures”, and in Gallery 4, the Monday Morning Artists will be showing watercolour and acrylic works.
