The State Government has pulled together 26 Australian Bureau of Statistics sets of data into one place online to allow quick access to facts about Queensland’s various indigenous communities.

The “Know Your Community” website provides key information and statistics about a community at the click of a mouse.

“It can sort data by any Queensland Indigenous location, Local Government Area, State Electoral District or statistical area,” Aboriginal Partnerships Minister Curtis Pitt said.

“This is going to be a valuable planning resource for indigenous communities throughout the State.”

East set of ABS data is also analysed and stratified against the same data for non-indigenous Queenslanders.
