Police expect to lay a number of charges following a brawl at Cherbourg on Sunday.
Cherbourg Officer-in-Charge Sergeant Scott Prendergast said the disturbance involved a number of people but onlookers also became involved.
A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries.
“This disturbance created disruption in the community and is viewed very dimly by police,” Sgt Prendergast said.
He said investigations were continuing and charges were pending.
“Police have confirmed that people travelled from other towns to participate in the disturbance, and these matters will also be investigated,” Sgt Prendergast said.
He said anyone who had video footage of the incident should contact Cherbourg Police on (07) 4179-5555.
