The Burnett Mary Regional Group is looking for primary producers interested in becoming a part of several projects taking place over the next 15 months.
The projects are being funded by either the Federal or State governments to support land managers in the inland Burnett River catchment area.
Interested land managers may be able to:
- Receive support via visits from an agronomist or extension officer
- Get advice on the management of erosion sites
- Receive one-on-one help with property management planning
- Access small grants for activities that support good land management principles (conditions will apply)
- Attend free workshops including Grazing Best Management Practice or Farming Forward (rural business management series)
- Participate in other subsidised workshops
