Ros Gregor, from Ringsfield House, was obviously pleased with the large turnout for the ABC breakfast

March 26, 2015

Ringsfield House was the spot to be in Nanango at 6:00am on Thursday with the historic building’s back yard filled with local residents queueing to enjoy a hot breakfast.

The breakfast – prepared by Ringsfield Cafe’s Judy Crawford – was delicious but it wasn’t the main attraction to draw all the attention.

That honour belonged to David Illife and the crew from ABC Southern Queensland who were broadcasting their breakfast radio show live from the grounds.

David took the opportunity to interview Nanango residents from a string of local community groups as well as ensuring Ringsfield House enjoyed a lot of good publicity.

After Nanango, the ABC roadshow rolled back into Kingaroy where Mornings host Belinda Sanders broadcast live from the Kingaroy Town Hall Forecourt.
