South Burnett Cricket Association secretary Paul Clegg handed out the U16 and the B Grade trophies at the end of the B Grade Grand Final game played in Kingaroy on Saturday.
U16s captain Chris Medcalf took out two awards: Player of the Season, and Players’ Player of the Season.
Coach Clinton Brown said Medcalf had been the “standout player of the season”, hitting 2.5 centuries – one against Maryborough and one against the Sunshine Coast.
“The one against the Sunny Coast was sensational. He played a sensational captain’s knock,” Clinton said.
