Here’s the weekly fishing report for Boondooma and Bjelke-Petersen dams for the week ending Monday, March 16:

Boondooma Dam
- Dam Level = 73 per cent
Another week of mixed reports. Customers have saying the fishing has been tough but the fish cleaning station has people cleaning fish all day.
The fish bins are full of fish every time we clean them so somebody is catching fish!
The main catch this week has been Golden Perch but there are still some nice bass being caught on lures.
The redclaw are still slow with some people catching a feed.
Looking forward to the Bass Nation this weekend. This will give us an idea to how the dam is fishing this year.

Bjelke-Petersen Dam – Yallakool
- Dam Level = 49 per cent
Finally Redclaw numbers have been increasing as the week progresses. Several reports of good pots have been reported in the past couple of days.
Good-sized Bass and Goldens are still being caught but patience is required.
Hard body lures seem preferred at present as Banded Grunter seem to be taking live bait before the Bass and Yellows have a chance.
There have also been some good size Jewfish being caught around the dam.
