Work began today on the reconstruction of a section of Campbells Road at Mondure.
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said the work would involve excavation followed by the installation of a new concrete culvert.
A side-track will be provided around the site.
The project is expected to take about three weeks.
Any local residents with concerns during construction have been asked to contact the onsite supervisor.
“We ask that people drive responsibly on our roads, and thank the community in advance for their patience,” roads portfolio holder Cr Damien Tessmann said.
