Here’s the weekly Fishing Report for Boondooma Dam for the week ending Monday, February 9:
What a great weekend was had by all the competitors (all 650+ of them) at the annual Yellowbelly competition.
The winds blew up two days before the comp and the weather reports weren’t that favourable for fishing. But for some reason the weather turned out to be almost perfect for both days.
The problem was nobody told the fish this and fishing was very hard on the Saturday but improved Sunday morning. Thanks to all the sponsors and the Boondooma Fish stocking group for the support.
It was also good to see all the kids there this weekend catching some fish that would have won the senior divisions.
