The New Year has started off well for Kingaroy SES with a large number of members and potential members attending this week.

Over 22 people attended the first training day of the year, and their enthusiasm and interest was exciting.

The Kingaroy Group has been working very hard over the past year, upgrading facilities and equipment to assist in our role of supporting community safety in times or emergency or disaster.

This year the focus is on growing the membership base and training members for performance – doing those vital roles supporting our community.

Are you up for the challenge?

  • Be a part of this dynamic organisation of volunteers
  • Learn new skills
  • Meet new people
  • Make lifelong friendships
  • Share your talents with others
  • Be there when our community needs us

Why not come along and learn more? Training is on Mondays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the SES’s Glendon Street Kingaroy headquarters.

Still not sure? Come along. Speak with the volunteers and see how you can become part of our community’s disaster response team.
