The annual Australian Brahmousin Association’s cattle handling and judging school has shifted location for 2015, moving from Wondai to Nanango.

The school, which is open to people of all ages, will run from February 20-22 at Nanango Showground.

This is the 12th year that it has been held in the South Burnett and always attracts a large number of students from all over south-east Queensland.

The school will include oral and practical sessions covering:

  • Selection of cattle for showing
  • Training and handling cattle for showing
  • Animal preparation, showing and show gear
  • Animal husbandry and health / veterinary care
  • Beef market requirements
  • Parading, feeding and grooming
