We don’t know what the internal party polling is saying, but online bookie Tom Waterhouse has the LNP at odds-on favourites at this stage of the campaign to take home the seats of Callide and Nanango at the January 31 State poll.

In Callide, Waterhouse has sitting member, Jeff Seeney, LNP, at the unbackable odds of 25-1 on (a payout of $1.04 for a $1 bet).

The ALP candidate Graeme Martin is at 20-1 and  “any other candidate” at 8-1.

In Nanango, Deb Frecklington, LNP, is at longer odds but still favourite at 2-1 on ($1.50 for a $1 bet).

The ALP’s Liz Hollens-Riley is at 20-1.

Waterhouse is hedging his bets, though, on the mix of other candidates in Nanango, with the Independent, Katter and PUP candidates bundled together at a $2.45 win for a $1 bet.
