A couple from Cooyar had their holiday plans cut short yesterday afternoon when their caravan left the road and overturned not far from the home.
The 65-year-old woman driver and her 71-year-old male passenger escaped injury in the incident which occurred about 1:30pm on the Dalby-Cooyar Road at Kaimkillenbun.
Their 4WD was badly damaged and the caravan was destroyed.
A police spokesman said the couple had been on their way to NSW.
