RACQ CareFlight are $1000 better off thanks to a surprise Christmas donation by the Kingaroy Hospital Auxiliary.

Last week, the Auxiliary presented a cheque to RACQ CareFlight’s air crewman Luke when his Rescue Helicopter landed at Kingaroy Hospital.

The Kingaroy Hospital Auxiliary raises money from running the hospital’s canteen.

Profits from the canteen’s operations are used to purchase equipment for Kingaroy Hospital, and to support services associated with the hospital.

Treasurer Alison Murray also advised that a cheque for $500 was forwarded to the Royal Flying Doctors Service this week.

It was a second surprise Christmas gift from the Auxiliary, courtesy of the Hospital’s canteen patrons and hard working Auxiliary members.
