Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss has been admitted to hospital with colitis.
A statement on the Deputy Prime Minister’s Facebook page thanked his colleagues and well-wishers for their support:
“I am making good progress but expect to remain in hospital over the weekend. I look forward to resuming my duties as soon as possible.”
