South Burnett residents have been urged to spare a thought this Christmas for the 2200 Australian Defence Force personnel who are deployed overseas and will be unable to spend time with their families this year.
Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss said care parcels and messages of support can be sent easily overseas.
