Cherbourg’s recycling facility will benefit from $10,000 in funding announced today by the Keep Australia Beautiful Association.

The grant will fund an improved waste crushing system for the facility.

Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss said Coca Cola Australia had made the funding available through the Beverage Container Recycling Grants administered by the Keep Australia Beautiful Association.

“It is my hope that this funding will help increase the viability of the recycling facility, which makes a valuable economic contribution to the Cherbourg community,” Mr Truss said.
