A special expo was held in Kingaroy today to put information at the fingertips of carers, a group of people sometimes forgotten in the community.
About 40 service providers – ranging from Blue Care to Graham House, as well as a number of self-help groups – had stalls at the Town Common Hall.
The expo was organised by STEPS Group Australia.
STEPS, based in Bundaberg, provides individual counselling and group support for carers in the Wide Bay, Burnett and Gympie regions.
