Nanango’s historic Ringsfield House will be holding a special Open Day during this year’s South Burnett-Cherbourg On Show long weekend – on a Sunday, naturally.
The day is being run by the Nanango Historical Society, who care for this wonderfully restored 1908 Queenslander developed by renowned Queensland architect Robin Dods.
Guests will be able to bask in Ringsfield’s magnificent turn-of-the-century architecture, take a free tour of the building and its extensive historical collection or stroll through its beautiful gardens (which were designed in 1993 by landscape architect Jeremy Ferrier).
Visitors who’d like to find out more about Ringsfield’s catering facilities – which are used for weddings, parties, and many fornmal occasions throughout the year – can also see the facilities first hand and get any questions they might have answered.
Bookings for individual vistors to the Open Day aren’t necessary, but if you’re bringing a large group with you they’d be appreciated.
They can be made by phoning Ringsfield House on (07) 4163-3345 between 10:00am and 2:00pm Mondays to Fridays, or by emailing them.
